About iinix
We've been at this since 2003.
Our story
iinix started in 2003. Dial-up was still common and "web app" was a new phrase. We built servers and websites for small businesses, learned to ship software, and learned to keep it running.
By 2004 we had our first major infrastructure client, designing systems for organisations that couldn't afford downtime. Through the 2010s we took on SaaS platforms and custom integrations, the kind of projects where off-the-shelf software falls short.
More recently we've been building LLM-powered tools and automation workflows. The technology changes; the work stays the same: figure out the problem, build something solid, keep it running.
We still write the code ourselves. Small team, no layers, no handoffs.
How we work
Speed
Short cycles, quick deploys, no wasted motion. We'd rather ship and iterate than plan forever.
Security
Hardened servers, locked-down defaults, regular audits. Security is part of the build, not bolted on at the end.
Simplicity
Boring technology, clear code, minimal dependencies. If the next person can't read it, we've done it wrong.
