A.T. Placement Services
Designed and built a fast & secure static replacement for a Connecticut recruiting firm's WordPress site. Hand-coded HTML + CSS with no framework, ~2,200 lines of CSS, fully responsive from 320px phones to 4K displays. Migrated the contact form to a secure third party, hardened the server with custom rules, and produced supporting pages and files. Deployed with zero downtime and full SEO continuity.

Replaced a one-page WordPress site for a Connecticut recruiting firm with a hand-coded static site. Same brand, same voice, none of the operational overhead.
The previous site was carrying the usual weight of a CMS-driven setup: regular updates, security patches, a database to back up, plugins that occasionally broke things. None of that was earning its keep for a small, founder-led firm whose actual marketing site barely changes month to month. The goals were clear: keep the editorial design language that suited the brand, make it faster, make it more secure, and reduce the maintenance footprint to as close to zero as possible.
A clean static site spanning a homepage and three supporting pages, built from one shared design system, met all requirements. The homepage runs the full length of a long-scroll editorial layout: hero, services, process, a featured-program spotlight, partner-logo grid, testimonials, an extended founder bio, and a contact form. Typography pairs a modern sans with a serif italic for accents, giving the site a magazine feel rather than a generic agency look.
The result is a faster site without CMS bootstrapping, database queries, or plugin chain. Pages render almost as fast as the network can deliver them. The site is also more secure, avoiding the whole class of CMS vulnerabilities. Additional hardening on the server side keeps sensitive paths sealed off and adds modern security headers.
